As part of the application process at Castillo Prestress, applicants are required to complete a brief skills and aptitude assessment. This exam is designed to evaluate reading comprehension, basic math skills, the ability to accurately read a tape measure, and competency using a calculator. It also includes a few general questions about how you approach teamwork, handle stress, and work with others in a fast-paced environment. The purpose of this assessment is to ensure candidates are prepared for the day-to-day responsibilities of the role and can succeed as part of our team.
We are looking for qualified candidates in the following positions:
Heavy Equipment Operator
Operates heavy equipment safely to support daily production, material handling, in both the both aggregate and precast operations
Quality Control
Ensures concrete materials and products meet quality standards through testing, inspection, and documentation.
Precast Labor
Works as part of a team to produce precast concrete products, including forming, pouring, finishing, and general labor.
Central Mix Batch Plant Operator
Operates, maintains, and monitors the batch plant to produce high-quality concrete while following safety and production standards.
Ready Mix Driver
Delivers ready-mix concrete to job sites safely and on time while representing the company professionally.
Ready Mix Dispatcher
Schedules and coordinates concrete deliveries, working closely with drivers and customers to keep operations running smoothly all the while representing the company professionally.
