This piece, a private commission, was designed with Form Z, an advanced 3D development software with the intention of capturing cloud formation in the southwestern region of North America and focuses on therapeutic design. This work is sited in a private home in Santa Fe, NM.

My Home Over There: Rio Grande Colcha

This total project, commissioned for the exterior of the New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe, NM consists of four pieces revealing the setting of the state of New Mexico: “Rio Grande Colcha”, “Dos Arboles, Dos Hermanas” (Two Sisters, Two Trees), “Barco” and “My Home Over There”. This piece features our ability to collaborate with agencies regarding civic planning and design, and historic preservation. All 2 and 3D forms were designed with Form Z, an advanced 3D development software.

10,000 Miles of Numbered Mountain

This piece features our ability to collaborate with agencies regarding campus planning and design. “100 Miles” was selected as part of New Mexico’s Acclaimed Artist Series. It references our attempt to understand the wonder of the world through parceled activities like geographic surveying of the Rocky Mountains which occurred during the early 20th century. All forms were designed with Form Z, an advanced 3D development software.

Fallen Petals

This piece features our ability to with collaborate with agencies regarding campus planning and design and water conservation. “Fallen Petals,” commissioned by Ft. Lewis College, was part of the Berndt Hall renovation, which houses Ft. Lewis’s renowned Biology Department. This piece uses best practices for storm water management regarding minimal impermeable surface construction and as a snow collection system. All forms were designed with Form Z, an advanced 3D development software.

Tribute to César Chávez

This work features our ability to collaborate with agencies regarding civic planning and design, community design, and land use planning. The City of Albuquerque Arts in Public Places Program commissioned this massive tribute for the Broadway Neighborhood renewal project in downtown Albuquerque. The artwork intended to honor César Chávez and the diverse neighborhood where this piece is sited. All 3D and bas relief forms were designed with Form Z, an advanced 3D development software.

CRM Contributions

The final project was fabricated in partnership with CRM. CRM’s expertise in structural engineering and pre-cast pre-stressed high-performance concrete enabled this project to fully come to fruition in a seamless way for the City of Albuquerque (CAB). One of CRMC’s ideas was to create the footing as part of the entire piece so that CAB would not have to be concerned with this aspect of the project, especially in the tight installation space. CRMs expertise in engineering made for a flawless installation.
